Provide the educational foundation to adequately prepare program graduates to be competent entry-level dietetic technician practitioners.



  • At least 80% of program graduates complete degree requirements within 3 years (150% of program length).


  • 80% of program graduates will take the CDR credentialing exam for dietetic technicians within 12 months of program completion.


  • The program’s one-year pass rate (graduates who pass the registration exam within one year of first attempt) on the CDR credentialing exam for nutrition and dietetics technicians is at least 70%.


Provide a dietetic technician program that adequately meets the employment needs of program graduates and the community.

  • Of program graduates who seek employment, 80% are employed in nutrition and dietetics or related fields within 12 months of program completion.


  • 80% of surveyed employers will rate program graduates as competent entry-level dietetic technicians.
